SEMA Seguridad de las máquinas agrícolas
Titel Englisch
SEAM Safety of agricultural machinery
URL
Inhalt
Agricultural machinery must meet design and construction requirements aimed at ensuring the safety and health protection of the operator during its intended use. SEMA makes it possible to check the safety conditions during use of different categories of agricultural machinery by means of a questionnaire based on the requirements laid down by Directive 2006/42/EC and the relevant harmonised standards. It has a technical information section for each category of machine including definitions, brief description of the machine, typology and reference documents. It allows you to enter data identifying the specific machine to be verified. The questions in the questionnaire are divided into three blocks, • Safety • Instruction Manual • Marking, which can be selected independently, according to the user's needs. A results report is generated indicating the degree of compliance with the requirements. It is a tool that is available in web, IOS and Android formats. It can be used on computer, smartphone and tablet.
Ziel und Zweck
The design and manufacture of agricultural machinery is subject to compliance with the essential health and safety requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, which entails the affixing of the CE marking on the units manufactured. The vast majority of such machines are self-certified by the manufacturer because they are excluded from the list in Annex IV of the Directive. In practice, this means that a notified body is not involved in the conformity assessment procedure to verify compliance with the essential health and safety requirements. For this reason, it is desirable to have a tool that allows the user to easily obtain information on the degree of compliance with these requirements. The SEMA (Safety of Agricultural Machinery) software application allows the verification of the safety conditions of different categories of agricultural machinery by means of a questionnaire based on the requirements laid down by Directive 2006/42/EC and the relevant harmonised standards.
