Through fiction, testimonies and round tables, this video set illustrates the principal risks associated with welding activities which are carried out in many professional sectors and present multiple health and safety risks for the employees: radiation, welding in a confined room, parallel activities, musculoskeletal disorders, welding fume. It confirms that the prevention of these risks is based on the complementarity of collective protection and individual protection equipment. One chapter is dedicated to the testimonies of several companies on the good practices they have put into place.

Ziel und Zweck

- Raise public awareness regarding risks associated with welding activities. - Better risk identification and comprehension. - Put in place prevention measures adapted to each working situation.

Welding is a risky activity with multiple health effects: many accidents, for some people serious ones, but also occupational illnesses. The INRS would like to have an awareness-raising and informative audiovisual tool in order to complete ist offer of written and available documents.
