The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authorities, the Road Safety Authorities and the social partners in transportation sector had tried everything to reach the foreign drivers driving in Norway, in order to ensure that they drive safely and have decent working conditions. But with no luck. The did not listen to us. So – who would they listen to? Then we realized, as everyone knows - it is always smart to listen to mum’s advice. So we invited polish mum Anna mum and to join her son Lukasz (who is a professional driver) on a truck drive in Norway…

Mother presents is an initiative which aims to increase awareness among foreign HGV drivers and their employers of the particular rules and driving conditions which pertain in Norway. The initiative has been launched by group of employers' organizations, unions and public authorities.
