Workers working outside under the sun are exposed to heat stress if preventive measures are not implemented and followed adequately. In the summer, the weather in Dubai is very hot, dry and humid, with temperatures reaching 45 °C (113 °F) for many days. Working under this conditions for prolonged times without proper measures could result in illnesses like heat stroke or heat exhaustion etc. Dubai Municipality as a part of Safe and Healthy Campaign launched a video as an awareness for all the workers working outside on the wrong and safe practices one could follow to ensure safety and prevent ill- health.
