Product description
Occupational Safety and Health Forum - exhibitor and workshop format (held every two years)
- exemplary description of the 2020 edition
In the context of the current VIDOC-19 pandemic, the organizers of the Occupational Safety and Health Forum 2020 (14th edition) were obliged to postpone this event to a later date.
The 2020 edition of the Forum had planned:
• More than 100 stands presenting the latest developments in occupational safety and health
• 3 rooms with a total of 230 seats for parallel workshops. The workshops are recognized as continuing education for designated workers.
• The presentation of the National Occupational Safety and Health Award 2020 in the presence of the relevant ministers
Occupational Safety and Health Forum - conference format (held every two years) - exemplary description of the 2019 edition.
The conference is part of the national VISION ZERO strategy, launched in 2016 by the Accident Insurance Association, the UEL and the INDR to step up efforts in occupational safety and health. Six ministries and the three national trade unions have joined the national VISION ZERO strategy with the aim of reducing the number and severity of occupational accidents, commuting accidents and occupational diseases. More than 160 companies have meanwhile joined this national initiative to actively contribute to the national goal.
Forum 2019 had revolved around the "7 golden rules" of VISION ZERO and offered the opportunity for companies committed to VISION ZERO to present their action plan or good practice. In addition, the conference had described the developments of the strategy at the national level and provided information on existing approaches and standards in terms of occupational safety and health and corporate social responsibility. As every year, the Forum offers a unique platform for companies wishing to learn about risk prevention practices.
