Aims and objectives

More and more young people suffer from type 2 diabetes with increasingly rising treatment expenses and until today there is no organised screening of diabetes available in France. In order to reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, it is appropriate to detect the risk of overweight and obesity and to measure the risk of diabetes. Therefore, the union of bakers has decided to face public health issues by means of a prevention campaign targeting the risk of diabetes for the employees.
