Passe à l’action : demande une formation

Title translated into English

Take action: request training

Film: Duration in minutes

2 minutes

Product description

The approach of realisation was designed with the target audience in mind. Although it was of high quality, one could think that it had been made by young people. The video clearly demonstrated the consequences of an occupational accident by presenting a young man burnt in the face and another one wearing a prosthetic leg. The magnitude of the accidents had been demonstrated by alarming statistics drawn like a graffiti on the sweaters of the actors. The illustration of eight deaths was presented forcefully in a scene where body bags were aligned in the form of the number eight.

Aims and objectives

The main objective is to make young workers and their environment aware of the risks and the consequences of occupational accidents. Secondly, CSST wants to encourage young people to request training. The ultimate aim is to increase the number of young people who receive training right from their first day of work and to increase the number of employers who have established a training and supervision plan.

As young people are big users of the Internet and of social media, the produced video of two minutes length has been launched on Facebook and Youtube, sent by email to thousands of young people and broadcasted on the website of CSST. The aim is that this video is seen and shared and that it makes a great number of young people aware of occupational health and safety. In addition, CSST wanted to develop its social community and thus held a competition on Facebook.
