Product description
Building reliable performance and recovering from error
Aims and objectives
Progress on self-correcting systems and recovery from error have been limited by outdated beliefs and limited application of current techniques to develop human performance and organizational management systems. Many traditional safety approaches can actually stall organizational progress. Progress is achieved by focusing on 3 critical aspects of organizational performance, and on avoiding blame and fault finding through enhanced investigation responses. The same techniques allow for robust development of psychological safety at work.
Through a lifetime of developing training and organizational development, the author has created a unified set of techniques and approaches that allow managers and professionals to transform their safety systems by fine-tuning existing performance and investigation protocols. Field tested over a number of years, the materials have been honed with feedback from end users across a wide variety of organizational categories.
Target audience
