Kraft – the head of a waste management company – explains how she introduced Workplace Health Management into her company. entry_salutation22. Kraft reports on the challenges she had faced and that she wanted to go beyond mere Workplace Health Promotion: After entry_salutation22. Kraft had initiated a Health Working Group, the Working Group members defined the targets of a Workplace Health Management system. In a next step, they conducted an employee survey that fulfilled the criteria of a mental stress risk assessment. Based on the survey results entry_salutation22. Kraft and the Working Group implemented many measures. In a final step, entry_salutation22. Kraft evaluated the effectiveness of the measures with regard to achieving the desired goals.

This explanatory video helps to illustrate the benefits of Workplace Health Management to our member companies and demonstrates how compulsory test and freestyle can be connected in occupational health and safety.

The term Workplace Health Management is often confused with Workplace Health Promotion. This led to the idea of producing an explanatory video that outlines the conceptual differences. The core processes of Workplace Health Management, i.e. analysis, action planning, implementation and evaluation, are to be described on the basis of an example. As some of these steps may be linked to the risk assessment of mental stress required by law this should also be considered.
