Working at height is a high-risk activity. Falls from height are a major concern, and accidents often result in serious injury or death. Victims and their families are not the only ones to suffer.

Employers and contractors are obliged to comply with safety legislation and implement a safe system of work, including a comprehensive risk assessment, as well as providing safety information, instruction, training and supervision. Workers must comply with laws and safe systems of work to avoid putting themselves and others at risk.
