Jingle – Electrical Safety & Fire Prevention has been developed to raise awareness about electrical and fire hazards, while promoting best practices and positive behaviours among workers in the textile and garment sector in Punjab, Pakistan.
The Jingle highlights key messages in a fun and catchy manner combined with traditional/catchphrases in the Urdu language with English subtitles. The Electrical & Fire hazards and risky behaviors have been highlighted while best practices and positive behaviours have been portrayed and promoted through Jingle.
Pakistan’s top music lyricist performed in the Jingle while the more cultural aspect and traditional music added more connections and color and life to the production.
Ziel und Zweck
To bring the sustainable changes in behaviors of the workers, managers and owners to reduce the number of accidents and damages that take place in the textile and garment industry
To highlight fire-related hazards and precautionary measures to manage and mitigate fire and electrical hazards through risk assessment
To educate management & workers how to react in case of fires or electrical hazard in the factory and what to do to minimize the repercussions of these hazards
To raise public awareness regarding fire hazards, including the availability, use and handling of proper fire equipment and electrical equipment for mass behaviour change
