To encourage movement and variation at work, we’ve developed five microbreaks, short films with suggested exercises. Our bodies benefit from changing position a few minutes when we’re sitting still. It can be enough to get up and get a cup of coffee, do a couple of squats, raise and lower your shoulders. Moving more during the day helps employees feel even better. So it’s important for employers to encourage movement and variation in the workday.
