Bergmann Ingo had a fatal accident during cleaning work on conveyor belts. You do not know what exactly has happened. His wife, friends, and work colleagues remember Ingo and portray how they continue to live with the loss. This creates a sensitive portrait of a man whose fate has literally been decided in a second.

Objetivos y metas

Survival and death can be literally determined in a second. The worst are the consequences for spouses, children, survivors, friends and acquaintances who have to deal with a fatal accident. Concern about the care and empathy for others is promoted for a more cautious han-dling of dangerous situations.

The film "Split second decision" depicts the effects of a deadly accident on a wife, children, friends, and colleagues with the means of a mockumentary (from English (to) mock = "pretend", (mocking) and documentary = "documentary"). The film is intended to raise awareness, in order to persuade employees to consider and changeany risky behavior. All actors are amateurs, who have improvised on the basis of a given screenplay. The filming took place at the original locations.
