It enhances the public's understanding of our role in supporting healthy and safe workplaces in B.C. by telling the story of what prevention officers do — how they're making a difference in the lives of workers and employers across the province — and letting them tell it in their own voice.

Objectif et finalité

Our occupational safety officers, like Bruce Logan, are passionate about commercial fishing and the safety of those who work in the industry. Bruce explains how, through education and enforcement, the marine team is showing what sustainable compliance looks like and how PFDs and lifejackets save lives.

At WorkSafeBC our promise is that we make a difference for the workers and employers in British Columbia. We recognized a need to develop a tool to help explain why we exist as an organization, and to enhance the public's understanding of our role in supporting healthy and safe workplaces in B.C. Sharing stories of our staff and the work that they do builds trust in the organization and its efforts towards health and safety.
