Objetivos y metas
The main aim of the whole programme is targeted to increase awareness on the workers' health and promote healthy lifestyle to prevent diseases and disability amongst workers in Malaysia. This is a web portal which is used for the SOCSO Health Screening Programme. The portal is used by panel clinics to validate vouchers (over 2 million vouchers) which are sent to all workers aged 40 years and above to redeem their health screening. Results of the health screening are entered to the portal and interpreted by the system about the workers' current health risk status such as cardiovascular diseases, blood pressure level, Body Mass Index (BMI), blood glucose level, cholesterol level, pap-smear (female) and breast cancer (female). The system also interprets automatically the Framingham cardiovascular risk score for these workers. The service providers are able to make health screening report print-outs for the workers who have undergone the screening. The portal is also able to collect health status/results and socio-demographics of the workers who have undergone the screening while maintaining patient confidentiality. (Currently over 300,000 health screening records are stored in the system's database). The portal is also used to process payments for the services rendered by the service providers.
