Product description

While safety is mandatory, adopting a healthy lifestyle is the result of an individual choice. This film is part of a wider programme called "Choose Life" aimed at raising awareness of a range of health issues that could affect people, and to encourage them to make better choices that will have a greater positive impact on their mental and physical health and well-being. The programme attacks three of Saipem's main health risks: cardiovascular disease, malaria and sexually transmitted diseases, which still cause serious chronic illnesses, represent risks of repatriation, and may lead to death. It has been structured as a training package centered around a 2-hour workshop that uses a number of exercises and thought-provoking discussions to explore the topic. A focus on mental health was added to the programme in 2021. According to the World Health Organisation mental health has become a critical issue in the industry, with an increasing trend of mental disorders also due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which in recent years has had a significant impact on people's emotional and psychological lives. The scenes of the film are created through a Microsoft Team framework, as most of the people have had to adjust to a digital working environment. The film was also dubbed and/or subtitled in several languages, such as English, French, Arabic, Azeri, Indonesian, Thai, Malaysian, Russian, Portuguese (Angolan and Brazilian), Latin American Spanish, as well as Italian. This allowed for a much better engagement throughout the Saipem world. From 2021, Choose Life is also available into an Online Self Learning Experience. The new edition is based on an e-learning course to engage users through self-reflection moments and an interactive learning experience. The film is for internal use only, please do not publish it in the whole version.
